March 2024 Update

Mid-March and we are at 60+ Brothers signed up. Now it's time to collect everyone's contributions.

See the Registration page for payment information. Cost is $150 per Brother and an extra $30 if you are bringing a guest. That gets you:

• The Last Klan Alpine Band Party

• A custom-made Last band Party T-Shirt

• KA Pint Glasses

• A KA Happy Hour - This is still shaping up, but it's looking like a Happy Hour at Alex's before the bar opens to the public on Saturday. We'll have approximately $20/person for a tab at the bar.

• Anything else we can afford...

Again, even if you are only attending the band Party and don't need any meals or a place to sleep, you have to register with AU and pay a small fee - I believe it's $20. My recommendation, if you're in for the weekend, is to sign up for the meals through AU, as I'm told almost nothing is open in town in June when it comes to food. You've been warned! If signing up to stay on-campus, indicate that you want to be with or near a special group and note Klan Alpine. The school will try to put everyone into the same dorm (!).

I checked in with the owner of the House and we are definitely good to take pictures there Saturday afternoon. I'm thinking about 2:30, following lunch at AU. Right now, only half the house is rented, so if that is still the case, the owner is open to allowing us to (respectfully, of course) tour the half of the House that is not rented. That would include the whole first floor, about half of the second floor and yes, the KA barroom.

I also just got the KA from the front porch at the House. That will get cleaned up and a coat of paint and will be on display during the weekend or at the Party. (The owner of the House saved the KA during the rehab of the house and gave it to AU.)

So things are shaping up nicely. About half of the people signed up have paid, so thank you to all of those guys.
